Zalgiris is known for their best basketball game while they stay at home. At the beginning of this years Euroleague they hosted the big three out of this group and of course lost it all. It didn't leave good impression and as addition to it they lost on road against so called weak teams. Looking their previous opponent Prokom that has decent center Burke and two really good Americans, I must say Prokom looks like a better team than Nancy, though if well prepared for this game they might surprise as Alba did against Joventut. The results they are coming from into this game tells me other. After Zalgiris lost by 7 in Siena, they won against Prokom by 11 and added two other victories in Baltic competition. Last one was against imo decent Ventspils by 50 points. It has been a good preparation for a game where they chase 15 points spread. Nancy after a win against Prokom lost three games, against Strasbourg, Panathinaikos and Vichy. Coming into this important game with good mood and good form is making a big difference for Zalgiris. Both teams have players who in a good day can score 5 three pointers if needed. I believe the home factor will be decisive in this area. Sometimes when you defend big spread, teams tend to think we will defend this one easily and lose control of the game, but imo Nancy is not coming to defend that spread but try to grab a win, why not to secure that 4 spot. Even if it might seem like a big mistake of the bookie I think they did a good job here. I am not willing to underestimate Nancy that much so only stake 6.
