NBA - Memphis Grizzlies v Boston
14 December 2009 | Preview By Tipster Rahul (UAE)
Handicap +8 : -8
After playing in Miami, they have to travel back home to Memphis to take on the Celtics who have had an entire days rest after shooting the Chicago Bulls early in their game on Saturday.
Boston have finally put things well together and have been good especially on the road with a 11-1 performance and are now carrying into this game a 10 game winning streak.
Seven Celtics players landed up in double figures in their last outing against Chicago and none more impressive than PG Rajon Rondo who almost had a triple double. Allen, Pierce and Garnett have continued to build up good steady form, while Rasheed Wallace and Eddie House have found themselves well in the rotation to give Doc Rivers a good headache on how to rotate the team.
Rudy Gay shot the lights out with 45 points last night, and Marc Gasol with a strong double double, but other than that the Grizzlies were lacklustre.
An important match up to take a look at tonight is the way Garnett plays against Zach, as Garnett's defensive play would probably dictate how things in this game work.
On a back to back night, especially with a strong performance last time around, don't expect the Grizzlies to wake up properly for this one.
