Cup - Iraklis v Panathinaikos
23 December 2009 | Preview By Tipster
Hayate (Greece)
Iraklis is the only A2 team of the semifinals having disqualified two other first division teams,Ilisiakos and Panionios.Of course now the circumstances are not the same as the opponent is Panathinaikos and there are two legs in this round so even with a possible home win today Panathinaikos will have a second game in Athens to recover.Iraklis in general is a defensive-minded team under the guidance of Leuteris Kakiousis and except from the first game of the season all other 9 games ended with less than 138 points total. The gym of Iraklis is quite small and supporters will have a deep impact in the game so i expect Panathinaikos not to shoot under the best circumstances and maybe the visitors will have problem to overcome the 80 points this time. Also i believe that coach Obradovic eventhough there are not any injured players he will let players with less minutes during the year to play more.A 68-82 score is my prediction here.
