NBA - Miami Heat v Atlanta Hawks
4 January 2010 | Preview By Tipster Rahul (UAE)
Handicap +2 : -2
The Heat despite winning by 15 at one point against the Bobcats managed to lose that lead several times and finally end up losing by a 10 points, which clearly shows you the weakness of the team when Dwayne Wade leaves the starting lineup.
Beasley, Haslem and Richardson are the only 3 players that help to assist Wade in the scoring, but defensively things haven't been going up to the mark. While they were playing well, their last 3 games came against some decent opposition such as the Spurs, Bobcats and the Hornets, which they were unable to handle.
On the other hand, the Hawks were playing well until they met top playoff team like Cleveland where they were shot down back to back 2 nights in a row. And while they were rallying back against the Knicks, a spectacular effort from Nate Robinson changed everything for them.
The Hawks should be proud of what they have this season with an early 22-11 start, they look headed to fighting with the big 3 in the East for a higher seed in the playoffs.
With Mike Bibby finally getting into scoring form, along with the support of their All-Stars Johnson and Smith and support players such as Williams, Horford, Crawford, Pachulia and Evans, the Hawks have a beautiful core 8 man rotation to get things working for them.
