Toronto Raptors versus Philadelphia 76ers
The scenario that the Sixers will face today is just terror. We all know that each team makes the same number of games, but the calendar of the Sixers is just horrible. The Sixers came from a road trip in the West playing 6 games against run and gun teams, especially the last 3 games against Utah, Lakers and Denver. Then they came from Denver to play at home against the Bucks, in a game where I predicted a lot of problems for Philly to adapt to a new rhythm and now after playing against the Bucks, they will fly to Canada to play a b2b against the Raptors.

This will be their 3rd game in 4 days and again the team will have problems to adapt to a team that doesn't play like the Bucks. Yesterday against the Bucks, the game was pretty much uni-dimensional, just interior game. It's only necessary to say that the Sixers went 0-13 3pts and the Bucks 6-16, in a combined effort of 6-29 3pts, which is something like 20%!

The team was able to contain the rhythm of the interior game of the Bucks and Bogut, Yi and Villanueva only made a combined effort of 12-31, but the team showed a terrible ball movement with 15 assists and 17 turnovers. Today against Toronto, they will face a team which is quite the opposite of the these Sixers.

Toronto is now 17-17, but they had a very tough calendar: Suns, Spurs, Rockets, Hornets, Detroit and Cleveland, all teams with the common factor of being teams with an above .500 record. This team of Toronto combines all the factors to easily win tonight's game, as they will face a team with tired less and this is a must win situation for them, especially after losing their last home game against the Cavs on an atypical way. It's not normal to be outscored 36-20 in the last quarter and even less normal that Lebron made 24 points in the last 12 minutes of the game (team record). The same thing happended against Detroit, where they were outscored in the last quarter by 21-32.

The team even though these results played well and it's only necessary to see that the Cavs only shot 35-71 49.3% FG, while the team was doing 23 assists and 8 turnovers. They lost mainly due to the rebounds (32-52). This may be the weakest part of Toronto in tonight's game, as the Sixers are very strong in the rebounds, however these two teams have faced each other already twice this season and Toronto was capable of pulling a nice effort in the rebounds (45-40 - more rebounds than the 76ers and 35-47 in the other game).

Toronto will create a lot of problems to the Sixers, as they can make a nice mix of offensive plays, something that will make the Sixers defense to struggle, as they can't concentrate too much on Bosh, as the players from the perimeter will show up (best team of 3pts shooting in the league). At the same time, Calderon will coordinate the team attack against an Andre Miller in bad shape.

As Toronto lost in a dramatic way the last two games in the last minutes, I believe they will try to play their best in the last quarter, even if they have already the win secured before that. It's a question of pride. Take Toronto in an easy win tonight.
