Barons - Ventspils

Baltic Basketball League, which is my favourite league to bet on. Both of these teams are in very good form and playing good basketball lately. Barons are at the top of their group in FIBA Eurocup with 4-1 record and winning at Ukraine against Khimik and week before beating strong team from Russia - Lokomotiv Rostov at home. Ventspils finished second in their ULEB Cup group after beating serbian FMP at home 77-64 and qualified for the next round.

Both teams have played this season twice and Barons have won both of them - 72-67 away Baltic League and 97-87 away in Latvian League. But things have changed from then on because Ventspils was loosing to almost everybody at the beginning of the season, even to Valmiera. After they won their first match in ULEB Cup they started to play with better confidence and win a lot of games. I rate their rooster slightly better than Barons and I don`t think they should be underdogs in this match and I will gladly take this +3 hc from pinnacle with 7/10 stakes. I am not taking ML because I see this one as a very close match, probably ending at very last seconds and therefore + 3 looks safer... :)
