Tipster's Country A.Gomes writes on NBA
Atlanta Hawks versus New York Knicks
Atlanta receives the Knicks today in a game which promises to be an affair of points, as both teams in their last games have produced a lot of overs. The Knicks are 9-1 O/U in their last 10 games, while Atlanta is 8-2 O/U in their last two games, with the two unders being at San Antonio and at Utah, when the team was playing their 4th game in 5 days. The line raised from 199.5 to 202 points, but I believe the bookies haven't adjusted the line to a reasonable level yet. Atlanta has just won two of their last ten games and these wins were already after the All Star break, which means that they were already with Mike Bibby in the roster. The curious fact is that these two games came from games with a lot of points. First at Golden State and in their last game at home against Sacramento. This means that with Bibby, the Hawks aren't obligated to defend well to win and now they can win playing with a fast tempo. Note that Sacramento shot 49% FG and Atlanta still won by six points. The key for that is Bibby and Mike Woodson has admitted that:

"He's something we haven't had since I've been here," Hawks coach Mike Woodson said. "He's played enough basketball in this league and made enough big plays offensively as far as getting shots. And he's won. He's been successful doing it. So I don't want to screw him up. And I want him to feel free to the point that if he doesn't like things that I'm doing, hey, he's got that right to let me know, and we'll change them."

In fact Atlanta is now shooting more than 80 FG per game, something impossible for them a couple of weeks ago. "Guys were running," Bibby said. "And I was telling the guys whenever I drive to the basket, circle in, because I'm looking to pass it. I just told the guys to be aggressive, and I was trying to get them the ball where they needed it."

Today they will face the Knicks, who are coming from a good home win over the Bobcats. Do you what this means? Take the over in their following game, as the Knicks are 15-2 O/U in a game which follows a Knicks win, including 14-2 O/U as an underdog and 7-2 O/U in away games. The team is also 19-9 O/U on the road. The Knicks are being more competitive in their last games, as they are 5-5 ATS in their last 10 games and their attack has gotten better in the last games and it isn't normal to see the Knicks making 17 assists and 9 turnovers against Toronto and in the following game 26 assists and 11 turnovers against Charlotte. This is a sign of an improved ball movement and with this the Knicks can score a lot of points during a game. With these two teams playing well on the offense right now, I believe this game can finish with more than 210 points tonight. Take the over in here.
