I'm putting this one with maximum stakes, but please, read the reasoning why, because I approach this game from a bit special angle and if you don't buy in to this, there is no reason to send this one, let alone with maximum stakes.

I'm not the biggest fan of conspiracy theory. I believe in fair play and I doubt that the officials have been tempered with by bribe or threats. But here is my approach to the game:

The Final Four will be held this year in Madrid. The Euroleague already had a painful experience in Paris, where Final Four in which Maccabi won the cup was held, but most of the city didn’t even know that they had the Final Four. Instead of a holiday and a big festivity, we all could see the half empty halls and from there on, besides one Final Four that was held in Prague, Euroleague always tries to hold the Final Four in a place where there is a strong basketball team (Moscow, Athens). Real are facing an elimination. A loss today and they are out. The fact that Real simply better team wasn't enough for Bartholomew who will come to the game Thursday to make sure that Real wins. Spain is the most powerful member of the ULEB, stronger than Italy or France and check this out, Malaga, Barcelona (one of them out for sure, maybe both if Rome wins) and Real facing elimination, Tau will probably get Pana in the Top 8, so can we have a Final Four without any of the four Spanish representatives? I doubt it.

As I said, Bartholomew comes to the game to make sure it doesn't happen. He won't tell the officials of course who he wants to win there, but there is not secret about it. I think that the officials understand that if they want to continue and work with ULEB in the future, they better help Real whenever is possible.

Part of me wants me to lose and prove that it is all fair play, but I'm a strong believer that usually, the teams that "should" promote, do it in most cases. All that regardless the fact that Real are simply better than Olympiacos and that they already won them in Madrid.

I will be even a bit careful and leave myself a chance for Real to lose and us to win by taking the +2.5 handicap and advise you to do the same.
