So after some thinking and studying i realized that Olympiacos maybe has some value here,at least to "protect" the HC of the 9 points the bookies offer.At the start of the season i could not imagine that i would start my preview here saying that two of the best defensive teams of Euroleague and of Europe in general meet each other tomorrow but this is the truth.IMO Olympiacos with Giannakis coaching the team has maybe the best defense in Europe and i am saying this knowing that many of you will disagree with this comment.I saw almost all games of Olympiacos since the "Dragon" joined the team and my conclusion is that Cska and Panathinaikos in the Euroleague and Greek League competition respectively will have problem against the Reds.Giannakis one week before the match against CSKA had the guts to release one of the first scorers and players of his team,Mark Jackson,just because the American did not play defense.And he made that move knowing that Jackson will not be replaced now by someother guy.I think that shows that Giannakis trust his players and believes in the current roster of the team.Cska except some games so far does not seem unbeatable.The strong favorite of the competition,yes i agree,but not an unbeatable opponent.Olympiacos caused problems to CSKA at the first game in Moscow and won the Russian team in Athens.Also last year in Moscow the Russian team had a difficult evening against the Greek team.I do not stand in match-ups as i think the total effort of the two teams will judge the final result.A close game is my prediction and Olympiacos ,who has gone to Moscow to play without pressure,not to lose by 10 or more.
