This is a "do or die" game for the Spurs, as they want to defend their title and go as far as they can this season. They lost at New Orleans, as in the second half they didn't perform well enough, despite the fact that they were leading at halftime. Good performances by Ginobili and Parker, but that wasn't enough.
The Hornets did a good job returning back to home and they've won by 22. West did very good job with 38 points and Paul added another great performance with 22 points and 14 assists. Chandler (bruised left foot) and West (sore lower back) had injuries, but they weren't serious so they will, probably, play tonight.
The Hornets are, maybe, a better team right now, but tonight the defending champions will get the victory, because they are more experienced in so important games. Specially at home they play at slow pace and the Hornets cannot respond well to that kind of game. All the games between them, this season, ended with double digits, except from on at San Antonio which ended with 9 points margin for the Spurs. I see the Spurs playing like champions tonight an winning both the Hornets and the spread.
